How does One Work?
Developed specifically to be either a Mastercard® product for those seeking card issuance with an offline card issuing profile or a scheme agnostic product for those seeking card issuance with an online card issuing profile, the One card provides protection where consumers don’t currently have it. Protection that comes without any need to customise the original method by which to pay.
Once the source of funds linked to the One device has been selected, all the user then does is select what they need support for when either:
- shopping at a point of sale (POS);
- withdrawing money at an ATM;
- shopping online; or
- authenticating to a service.
After which they simply input their secret 4-digit PIN directly into the device which then generates the one-time use response needed for them to then use for whatever they’re trying to do. Only this time, securely and without fear of being defrauded.
